Service Announcements for January 12th
Thank you for being a part of our service. If you are new to Self-Realization Fellowship, there are free brochures at the Information
Table on the upper patio and volunteers there that can answer your general questions. We encourage you to visit sandiegotemple.org for the latest news on Temple events. You’ll also find links to join online meditations, view inspirational services and apply for the SRF Lessons. The Lessons give detailed instructions on how to meditate and live a spiritually balanced life.
Quarterly Prayer Circle Meetings
Once every three months, the Prayer Circle group extends an open invitation
to all temple members to join in a public meeting. We will meet TODAY for
our first public meeting of 2025 at 12:30 PM here in the chapel. The meeting
will last about 30 minutes, and we will be praying for all impacted by the fires
in Los Angeles County, our SRF properties in the fire zone and for the
firefighters. All are welcome to join.
Temple Service Day
Everyone is invited to join us at the Temple Service Day on Saturday,
January 18th. Are you new to the San Diego Temple? This is a great way to
get acquainted with people and help serve the temple. Set-up begins with a
continental breakfast at 9:00 AM, then tasks are performed from 9:30 AM
until noon. A Meditation will be held from noon until 12:30 PM in the Chapel.
At the conclusion of a wonderful day of service, a delicious vegetarian lunch
will be served. We look forward to sharing a day of service and fellowship
with all who attend.
Lesson Study
The Lesson Study group will meet today at 12:30 PM. We are currently
studying Lesson 65, “Why You Haven’t Changed as You Wished”. Please bring
that lesson or some proof verifying that you are an SRF Lesson student.
Please be assured that you may attend the lesson study even if you have not
yet received the lesson that is being studied.
