Service Announcements for April 19th
Thank you for being a part of our service. If you would like to know more about Self-Realization Fellowship or this Temple, the Information Table on the upper patio has free literature and useful tools for everyone. Volunteers there can answer your general questions. You can also visit our website, sandiegotemple.org, for the latest news on Temple events. There you’ll also find links to join online meditations, view inspirational services and apply for the SRF Lessons. The Lessons give detailed instructions on how to meditate and live a spiritually balanced life.
General Temple Meeting
All are welcome to join our temple meeting this Saturday, April 25th, at 10:30 AM. Come and hear about the latest temple news and learn about what’s planned for the future. A delicious luncheon will be served after the meeting.
Donations
We extend a big thank you to all who support our Temple through their service and donations. When we ask for donations at the end of the service, you may wish to donate using your phone and the QR code that’s on the card in the back of the seat in front of you. All donations are greatly appreciated.
Member News
SRF member and former longtime San Diego Temple volunteer, Mike Dangerfield, passed away recently. A Memorial, to be held at the
Encinitas Temple, is being planned for a future date.
Satsang for Women
Sister Ranjana, an SRF nun, will lead a Satsanga for women on Saturday, May 2nd, at 11:00 AM in the San Diego Temple chapel. Last year the women’s Satsanga received high praise from those in attendance, so don’t miss this year’s event!
At this gathering, Sister Ranjana will answer questions from women that focus on their spiritual lives. These questions must be submitted in advance. Please place them in the slot in the credenza at the back of the chapel or go to our website sandiegotemple.org and click on Sister’s photo where you can then enter your questions online.
A hospitality tea and fellowship will follow at approximately 12:00 p.m. SRF women are warmly welcomed to attend. While parking is limited in the temple parking lot, you may also park at the South end of the large lot just behind the temple at 3030 Front Street. Please do not park beyond the “no SRF parking” sign. Thank you.
