Service Announcements for May 31st
Thank you for being a part of our service. If you would like to know more about Self-Realization Fellowship or this Temple, the Information Table on the upper patio has free literature and useful tools for everyone. Volunteers there can answer your general questions. You can also visit our website, sandiegotemple.org, for the latest news on Temple events. There you’ll also find links to join online meditations, view inspirational services and apply for the SRF Lessons. The Lessons give detailed instructions on how to meditate and live a spiritually balanced life.
Pilgrimage
The San Diego Temple is chartering a bus for a pilgrimage on Saturday, June 6th to Paramahansaji’s Crypt at Forest Lawn and to the Hollywood Temple! Tickets are on sale after both temple services and are selling quickly so be sure to get yours today! If you are driving to this event, it is important that we know of your plans so that we can inform those preparing for this special occasion. Please let the volunteers at the bus table know if you plan to drive. Thank you for taking the time to do so.
Learn to Meditate Class
Are you new to meditation? Please join us this Thursday, June 4th, at 7:00 PM for a class geared towards newcomers entitled, “Learn to Meditate”. Come and learn how yoga meditation works and how to practice it. All are welcome to attend; veteran meditators may learn something new and will help support the group effort. Please stop by our bookroom after the class. There you will find free literature and an extensive collection of writings by our founder, Paramahansa Yogananda.
Encinitas Pilgrimage
The Encinitas Temple has chartered buses for a Pilgrimage Tour to the SRF International Headquarters on June 13, 2026. Please go to encinitastemple.org/special-event to learn more.
